Ways to Give

Giving to the ministries of The Moody Bible Institute can be done either directly or through a gift model that can provide possible life income and tax benefits. Click on an option below to learn more.

• Gifts of Stocks and Bonds
  Donating appreciated securities, including stocks or bonds, is an easy and tax-effective way for you to make a gift to Moody Bible Institute.
  
• IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution
  An IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), also known as an IRA charitable rollover, allows individuals 70½ or older to make gifts directly from an individual retirement account (IRA) to Moody Bible Institute AND receive significant tax benefits in return.
  
• Donor Advised Fund (DAF)
  With a DAF, you can make gifts to charity during your lifetime, and when you pass away, your children can carry on your legacy of giving.
  
• Bequest
  You designate Moody Bible Institute as a beneficiary of a cash or non-cash asset gift thru a will, trust, or beneficiary designation form.
  
• Charitable Gift Annuity
  You transfer your cash or appreciated property to our organization in exchange for our promise to pay you fixed payments (with rates based on your age) for the rest of your life.
  
• IRA Rollover to Gift Annuity
  You may be looking for a way to help further our mission and enhance your income. If you are 70½ or older, you can make a one-time IRA rollover to fund a charitable gift annuity and receive fixed payments for life.
  
• Pooled Income Fund
  A contribution or bequest to Moody's Pooled Income Fund allows you to provide the security of life income for yourself or your loved ones.
  
• Charitable Remainder Trust
  You transfer your cash or appreciated property to fund a charitable remainder trust. The trust sells your property tax free and provides you with income for life or a term of years.
  
• Company Matching Gifts
  If you are an employee or retiree, it is possible your employer may sponsor a matching gift program that could match your charitable contributions to Moody.
  
• Memorial and Tribute Gifts
  Memorial and Tribute gifts enable you to partner with Moody and also recognize the special family, friends, and leaders who have influenced you during their lifetimes.
  
• Beneficiary Designation Gifts
  You can designate Moody as a beneficiary of a retirement, investment or bank account, or your life insurance policy.
  
• Gifts of Insurance
  A gift of your life insurance policy is an excellent way to partner in the gospel with Moody.
  
• Gifts of Real Estate
  Donating appreciated real estate such as a home, vacation or rental property, undeveloped land, farmland, ranch or commercial property can make a great gift to our ministry.
  
• Gifts of Commodities
  Give directly from your harvest to stretch the value of your donation! Your donation of grain, fruit, or other commodities can make a great gift to Moody.
  
• Gifts of Retirement Assets
  Donating part or all of your unused retirement assets such as a gift from your IRA, 401(k), 403(b), an inherited IRA, pension or other tax-deferred plan is an excellent way to help share the gospel thru Moody.
  
• Gifts of Other Goods and Services
  Consider a gift of tangible personal property from your private collection or services through your company to stretch the value of your donation and benefit the mission of Moody Bible Institute.
  
• Gifts of Cash or Check
  A donation by cash or check is a simple and easy way to partner with Moody, allowing you to make an immediate impact on our mission and providing a charitable income tax deduction for you.
  
• Charitable Lead Trust
  You fund a trust that makes gifts to us for a number of years. Your family receives the trust remainder at substantial tax savings.
  
• Give It Twice Trust
  You provide your children with a stream of income while making a gift to charity.
  
• Life Estate Reserved
  You give your property to our organization but retain the right to use the property during your life.
  
• Gifts of Cash
  A gift of cash to Moody Bible Institute is a simple and easy way for you to make a gift that will have a far-reaching impact for the Kingdom.
